I believe in having an open mind and open ears when it comes to music appreciation, interpretation, and song creation. For this reason I have long since hated the system, (or is it?) by which we attempt to put music into "Genres". Furthermore, my intrigue in less "conventional" harmonies and song structures, is often not taken as well by the majority of others.....at least not at first. My work has been described as dissonant, out of time, polyrhythmic, a child messing around on the piano, and there are many more flavorful descriptions than that.
